Jess Kavelish is a young artist born in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. With a natural talent for drawing, painting, and photography, she attended Point Park University for a degree in Animation and a minor in Graphic Design. Building her experience, Jess worked at a graphic design print-shop after graduating. Now she works remotely for a book publishing company as a full-time book cover designer. She also works as a contract freelancer creating hand drawn covers and illustrations to bring author's books to life.

 

A dream of hers since she was a little girl was to one day work for the Walt Disney World animation studios. Jess already managed to get her foot in the door in the spring of 2019 and had the ​opportunity to participate in the Disney College Program. Near the end of her program, she was ​fortunate enough to be offered a permanent position with the company as a seasonal cast member. Still ​early in her career, Jess looks forward to working for a company that will continue to spread the magic.
